Are electronic gold testers accurate?
Most of these electronic simply aren’t accurate enough to do this, the only one I would recommend is the Kee tester (if you calibrate it very carefully it is accurate to the nearest 1ct). Other than the Kee tester, if you want to test high carat gold, use acids, they are accurate up to 24ct.
